Designed to meet GMP standards, our ACMPR licensed 40,000 sq ft closed-box facility will produce 2,500 kg of cannabis annually.
Our exclusive partnership with Maripharm B.V. in the Netherlands provides us with genetics that allows us to create unique offerings to the cannabis market.
As new opportunities arise, our Kirkland Lake, ON site provides 800 acres of expansion potential with a two-phase growth plan that includes a 200,000 sq ft facility that can produce an additional 40,000 kg / year.
MariPharm B.V.
For over 25 years, Netherlands-based Maripharm B.V. has been researching the application and effects of medical cannabis. The company has engaged in research partnerships with governments and universities, including the University of Oxford, Hebrew University in Jerusalem, University of Amsterdam, University Utrecht. The first ever holder of a cannabis cultivation license in the Netherlands, Maripharm B.V. is the source for the most trusted genetics for consumers based on their needs. Maripharm B.V. has been a member of the International Cannabinoid Research Council- ICRS.co for 20 years.
48North has entered into an exclusive partnership with Maripharm B.V., which has an import license issued by Health Canada. Maripharm B.V.’s Technical Consultant, Marcel De Wit, is a pioneer in the manufacture of pharma grade cannabis as well as chair of Maripharm B.V.’s non-profit organization.
